I've seen people do detailed Photoshop painting before, and I felt it was my turn to try. I used a tutorial and took things step by step. It took, perhaps, weeks to finish, because I wanted to work on it little bits at a time so I wouldn't get too stressed and have it turn out wrong. You might have noticed that the tree isn't nearly as detailed, but I wanted most of the focus to be on the owl, and I figured something as detailed as a tree would take more practice. At the last minute I decided to ad a light shining on the owl because I liked the effect. I was waiting for the next picture I could be incredibly pleased with, so here it is.

Ask me about commissions if you'd like something like this!(I may warn you, though, it won't come as cheap as the others.)
