Description ... AKA "Deinonychus Revisited".
Wanted to do some Deinonychus again, this time applying what I've learned through this site and research and... well, here it is.
A pack of Deinonychus attacks a Tenontosaurus in a shallow river.
Deinonychus ("terrible claw") was a medium-sized dromaeosaurid that lived in the Early Cretaceous in what today are the states of Wyoming, Oklahoma and Montana. The discovery of this dinosaur actually triggered what today is known as the "dinosaur renaissance", this is, the change in perspective of the dinosaurs, from dull, slow beasts to active and agile animals. It measured up to three anf a half metres.
Tenontosaurus ("nerve lizard") was a rather large ornithopod dinosaur, considered a primitive iguanodont. It measured about 6.8 to 8 metres in length.

Though it's hard to notice, there is some sexual dimorphism between the Deinonychus, the male has a larger, mottled throat sack. Aaaaaand... I'm not sure if the Tenontosaurus' tail is long or thin enough.

Gracias!
