Blakes design takes some cues from her post-Battle of Beacon outfit from the original series. Specifically the outfit under her jacket. There are some differences, such as longer pants, some details on the top (and pants), and fingerless gloves. Her skin may-or-may-not be darker than it is in canon. I tried making her the same skintone as her mother Kali, but whether I succeeded or not is up to you. I accidentally made her short haircut a bit less smooth, though that does bring her parents' hairstyles to mind. Her eyeliner, which she did have in canon (It's more obvious in Ice Queendom) is translated to full-on eyeshadow.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy first encountered Weiss on a steamer boat in the bayou of New Orleans. After Weiss told her about Sora, Blake went for the more stealthy approach, content to follow the three to make sure they helped that world's Princess of Heart, Tiana, return to her human form, and take Tiana with her after they left. Unfortunately for her, Goofy heard her following them and Sora chased her across the steamer. She used her "Shadow Dance" to captivate Sora, but Goofy destroyed the shadows and broke the boy's trance, resulting in a fight. Impressed by Sora's skill, she offered him and his friends a spot in their faction, but they refused, Sora using a spell he's worked on to ward her off.

While Weiss left Sora and company in a huff (Understandable since Alice went missing on their watch and none of them know where she is), Blake doesn't hold Tiana's appearance against them (To be fair, Alice is a kid, so Weiss' big-sis instincts may have been kicking in), and even shows them the Keyhole she found in the building Tiana bought before leaving without a fight, showing Team RWBY's more impersonal nature to heroes that get in their way, unless they do something that really pisses the team off (I.E. Weiss' aformentioned concern for Alice or lighting Yang's hair on fire). Nonetheless, she reported back to Ruby and later went along with her plan to get Sora alone in an attempt to sway him.

Blake has a few friends out there to help keep an eye on things in Remnant, specifically Ilia and Sun, as well as her parents. Her ex-boyfriend Adam, who took control of the White Fang to ally with Salem, hasn't been seen since a fight with Blake and Yang. Since then, the White Fang has been in pieces, leaving Blake's father Ghira as the one most Faunus go to. Outside of Remnant, Blake's often just mistaken for a typical catgirl.

Sora: Wait, that's not a Heartless! She's a catgirl! Mom said I'm not allowed to look at those!
Blake: ...I'm not dignifying that.

Like her canon counterpart, Blake is bisexual.

As mentioned above, Blake is a bookworm. From fairy tales, to history, to ninja smut that she should be ashamed of. Some of the worlds she's traversed brought to mind the stories she read. She also has an introspective side, which helps with dealing with Hearts. After Tiana vanished (Riku snatched her), she conceded and directed Sora to the Keyhole of New Orleans. In the Beast's Castle, she also manages to find the Keyhole in the Ballroom.

Blake, being a Cat Faunus, has some catlike traits. She likes fish; she trees herself around dogs like Zwei or Pluto; she likes boxes; she tenses up when she senses a threat; etc.

Blake in general has an issue with dogs. She's agrivated that Goofy ruined her attempt at stealth, and when Team RWBY follow Sora back to Traverse Town, Blake gets bothered by Pluto, and then the four get swarmed by the Dalmation Puppies in the town. Ruby and Weiss gush over them, Yang has little complaints, but Blake is hating every second of it.

Blake: (On the ground, getting licked by Dalmation Puppies) Why am I still here...? Just to suffer...?

Blake's favorite food-type is fish, and her favorite beverage is tea.

Blake's favorite movie is Elemental, and her favorite show is Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Blake's favorite video game is Dead Or Alive, Kasumi being her main.

Blake isn't sure what her favorite book is. She's not sure she has one.

As they searched the numerous worlds, Blake decided that her favorite world is Beast's Castle, what with all the books and the great kitchen. There may also be some symbolism in the Beauty and the Beast-inspired Huntress liking that world. But it's probably mostly the books and the kitchen.

On top of night-vision, Blake's Faunus nature (and having two sets of ears) gives Blake some great hearing. When she and Yang went to Beast's Castle, she could hear a third party approaching from all the way across the main bridge.

Yang: So, think I can get it open?
Blake: Well, if anyone can pry it open- (Winces and turns around) Oh crap, it's Sora!
Yang: Ouch. (Turns around) Oh.

Blake is in a relationship with Yang, much like her canon counterpart since Volume 9;

Blake has a hatred for Kimba the White Lion, for reasons.

Blake's a Wolfychu and SnapCube fan.

Blake's favorite kind of music is orchestra.

Blake can bake. She specializes in cookies.

Blake really likes back-massages and foot-rubs.

Blake's a closeted FNAF fan and her favorite character is Ennard. She doesn't know why.

Blake enjoys electric blankets, and warmth in general.

Blake has tested her hypnotic Shadow Dance techniques on her teammates, most specifically Yang. She can use Fire, Water, Electricity, and Wind clones fore these dances.

She also hopes to use them to make humans and Faunus less hostile to each other. A bit sketchy, but if it gives them something to enjoy together, it's worth it.

Blake has a secret catnip stash hidden somewhere in Team RWBY's Gummi Ship.

Blake has an appreciation for acrobatics and trapeze.

Blake's ears have a habit of moving depending on her mood, from twitching to drooping.

Blake likes waterbeds. She loves how wobbly they are.

Blake's extra set of ears means she can be pretty sensitive to sounds, especially high-pitched ones. Vacuums are also a pain.

Blake is more content to eat and watch her teammates play a multiplayer co-op game than join in herself. This isn't out of some aloof demanor, it' s because multiplayer co-op is a sadistic joke and everyone playing is the punchline. Penny usually takes her place in the games.

Blake owns a bedlah outfit, but isn't sure about wearing it in public. Though given what she usually wears.

Blake seems to enjoy tight clothes more than loose ones.
