Description
Unlike Aqua and Terra, Ventus' passing down of the Keyblade was unintentional. Regardless, his pick, Kairi, survived when the Heartless devoured Destiny Islands. Unlike Sora and Riku, Kairi initially had no ship or portals to travel with, so she just used a spell that launched her from world-to-world. Before waking up in Traverse Town, she remembers Sora saying something about gold eyes. She eventually wound up in the Metaverse after an accident, and mistook the Phantom Thieves and Shadows for the people who destroyed her home. She eventually learns who Xehanort/Xemnas/Xigbar/Young Xehanort/Terra-Nort/Ansem are, and psyches herself up to help Sora and Riku fight them...She never once meets, fights, or even sees any incarnation of Xehanort. However, she is the first of the Destiny Trio to encounter and go head-to-head with his creation, Vanitas, and lives! She also learns what he's planning!
