Oh my goodness guys... its nearly the end of another year!? I've not uploaded nearly as much as I wanted to

I've been a terrible terrible FRx... I am so sorry for deserting you, I hope you've all had a brilliant christmas

With out further ado... please, let me introduce the newest member of the Kotori Herd... Lark has assigned her the role of medic- and her name... is Aaralyn.

Thank you ever so much *kalmakoira for letting me adopt her as you might see... she has a plait now ^^ Thank you so much I hope you like her... yes this is the pose I used for Rift... again, bad bad FRx... ;_;

Personality: Gentle and true to her word, a phrase which is often used to descibe this honest creature. Aaralyn has a fondness for the spring and summer months, she is bright and spritely- enjoying even the smallest of details in nature. She is quiet, but not shy and highly inquisitive. Friends do not come easily to her, however, she finds it hard to put her trust in others... which is sometimes more of a curse than one would think. She has a dry sense of humor, witty but bone dry to its core which takes some off guard sometimes. Aaralyn has an uncanny way of making you feel special just by looking at you with those deep blue eyes of hers. She is a saint enclosed in the body of a horse, a mischevious nymph all rolled into one. Still waters run deep... and it has never been more true than with this mare.

History:
Aaralyn does not remember much of her mother, infact anything that she does know about her has been told to her via either her aunt or her father. Aaralyn's mother died just after she was born, or at least that was what she was told- perhaps to keep her safe from knowledge. The herd in which she resided took root in the dark forests- forests which were bordered by endless grass plains that eventually stretched towards the sea's gnashing jaws. The darkness in which they lived lent them to evolve light coloured eyes over time, each of her clan having paler eyes than those elsewhere.

Aaralyn grew up enjoying the fruits of mother nature, being taught what plants were safe, which weren't- which healed and which killed. Her father lectured her about the ways of the wild, about the beginning and the end of all things. Then it came time, when she grew to the age where she became increasingly independant of her father, that he father dropped a bombshell- the mare who had birthed her was not dead, indeed she had been bannished from the forest. Aaralyn was the product of the leader of one herd, and a stranger who had happened across her home herd. Something that was frowned upon. The foal was fostered, the father given an ultimatum and the mare... disbanded. Aaralyn- having put all of her trust into her father for her entire life felt betrayed by this and decided- after much deliberation- that leaving the forest would be best, not just for her- but for her father as well.
