So, what can I say about Gretel? Gretel was created for the first year of Halloween Hypnofest, in a comic called "The Halloween Curse of Gretel the Witch", where she used her magic to turn everyone into night elves that obeyed her every word and went trick-or treating for her. Her age has been kind of out there. So I guess we'll just say Gretels is as old as whatever the situation needs her to be. I'll admit that someone I know was the inspiration for Gretel's crazy personality, so I made her character and her signature laugh based off her. Gretel's become a favorite among my characters and I think it's safe to say she'll be causing some trouble for a long time. Enjoy!

Aliases/Nicknames: Gretel the Witch

Personality: Insane, mischievous, has a twisted sense of humor, excitable, a bit of a stickler for getting even, tends to laugh a lot, free spirited, pretty irresponsible, and impulsive.

Likes: magic (especially the dark kind), pulling pranks, Halloween, chaos, candy, revenge, doing whatever she wants, her friend Nico, and her familiar.

Dislikes: Being told what to do, being restrained, being lectured, fake magic (tends to hate magicians), rules, oranges (but only the actual orange), and being bored.

Background:There are many witch families out there, but one of the most infamous is the Grimsby family, known for their unstable personalities and love for chaos! After her mother Dorothy married an elf named Alister, Gretel was born half human and half elf, indicated by her pointy ears. Unfortunately Gretel family was hit with hardships. Gretel's father died and her mother was banished from the Coven of Witches for acts of aggression when Gretel was just a little girl. The Coven then saw to raise the young witch to be better than her mother, unfortunately for them Gretel wasn't so easily taught. From early on, Gretel was a problem child as she learned to master her skills in sorcery. Gretel was a natural talent when it came to magic, but a troublemaker in every other sense, often pulling pranks on her teachers and classmates in the Witch Academy. Eventually Gretel became bored and frustrated with the school that she felt could no longer teach her anything and by the other witches that looked down on her for her ears and family name and decided to see what fun she could have in the normal society. Finding her Mother's old home, Gretel came the quiet town of Pendle Oaks where she would eventually meet Nicole "Nico" Rosso and eventually the two became friends. Gretel also found one of her Mom's old experiments, a half cat-half bat called "Vlad", which Gretel made her familiar. Gretel's only goal seems to just to have as much fun as possible, though her idea of fun may not be everyone else's. Since Gretel moved to Pendle Oaks, things have been anything but quiet. Gretel has brought monsters, mischief and mayhem to the once normal town, laughing all the way through! Gretel's a witch who's insanity gives new definition to word "wicked"!
