As I said in the general Kawaii Senshi, High Card Bio , I'm giving each member a solo bio to further understand each character before the debut piece I got planned out. This one's for fun loving, High Card Diamond. I'll admit her design was somewhat inspired by Sailor Mercury, at least her High Card form. Unlike Spade, Diamond is more into the fun and even cheesiness of being a Magical Girl and I'd think that if this were a normal team, she'd probably be the leader/protagonist. Ah well, either way, Diamond's just happy to be here. Enjoy!

Name: Mio Hamako

Aliases/Nicknames: High Card Diamond and Diamond.

Age: 16

Personality: Upbeat, hyperactive, fun loving, positive, a bit dramatic, nosy, and a little ditsy at times.

Likes: Ramen, anime/manga, karaoke, hanging out with friends, video games, sports, and super sentai.

Dislikes: "Evil doers" (as she puts it), cheaters, homework, rainy days, and too much silence.

Background: Mio Hamako grew up watching shows and reading manga full of brave heroes that fight evil doers and make everyone feel happy and safe. Despite the fact that there was no such thing or even a need for that kind of hero, Mio aspired to be the kind of person who brings joy to others and helps people in need. Though thanks to her overly energetic and dramatic behavior, most of her attempts to do so...mostly annoyed people. Regardless, Mio took all this in stride and usually tries to keep a smile on her face. One day she and three other girls from her school were whisked away and came face to face with Queen, the avatar of Light Magic. She revealed to the four girls that they were the descendants of the original maidens of High Card and that with King, the avatar of Dark Magic, returning they would become the next generation of her champions. Mio became High Card's Diamond and the "Defender of Joy and Friendship", a role she was very happy to take up. Mio likes the heroics the come with being a Magical Girl and uses what she saw on tv and in manga to act like "a real hero" while she saves the day from King and his dark forces! Though she can come off as a bit annoying and lacks a bit of common sense at times, Mio's heart is in the right place and takes her role as a member of High Card with the upmost seriousness. But she will have fun while doing it.

Powers/Abilities: Thanks to the Celestial Wand granted to every member of High Card, Mio can fly, create force fields, has enhanced agility, durability and can purify anything affected by the dark magic and his forces. Diamond's element is water, which she can create and manipulate as she wants. Mio is the one that gets creative with her powers, creating all sorts of weapons, creatures, and other objects from the water. She can also freeze water, but isn't as good at that. Though Mio's not exactly a bright student, she is a skilled athlete and soccer player, and thanks to that she's the fastest of the team. Though she can come off as a bit of a ditz and a clutz, when Mio has her game face on "Evil Doers, Beware!"
