it's some stuff I made in Delphi some time ago - something similar to Perlin noise
I used to write simple programs for elements like this and then embed them in some short video
right now I'm working on a large project incorporating all of these small projects - 3d sculpting, small animations, noise, clouds, labyrinths... anyway it's quite the endeavor

actually i had this as a thumbnail waiting for me to comment on in my message box for a few days.
now that i finally have clicked on that thumbnail (which was already looking very intriguing) i am completely stunned by its animation, which for some reason was beyond my expectations.
the next step -after looking at it for quite a little eternity- took me to your perfectly matching description about a "...Beta-Creator generating clouds inside the universe." and his "...first step towards achieving Alpha-Creator status.".
...and then after furthermore reading the comments i found out that it's actually you you were talking about while referring to that Beta-Creator.

din intamplare, este haos la mine in camera, dar nu e de la mine. e poveste lunga. colegii mei traiesc ca porcii, si eu nu voi mai face curatenie pentru ei. am facut. nu mai fac. in cateva zile ma mut de acolo, probabil ca dupa ce plec vor incepe sa creasca ciupercute si se vor dezvolta noi forme de viata
dar nu de asta am spus. haosul e interpretabil ca ordine sau haos, ca anti-ordine

the shadow over the whole thing is brilliantly done, and i love the brow shadow, but i could happily do without the creepy head and have just the bubble and hands - the hands are immacculately (how th flip do ya spell tht word!?) done!!
its just all so mesmerising!!!

At one point, a spot in the middle of his forehead darkens. Is there an indent there that would fall into shadow? It seems odd.

actually my face - just like every artist's face - is perfect muahahahahaha
joke aside... there is no indent - the lights and shadows come from photoshop - I overlayed the sphere animation over the picture of head and hands so that it gives the impression of being in the same scene
