I have to ask I have heard much of Icarus but I am lacking of wisdom upon the subject, what is Icarus?

it's from mythology, the main story is that he flies too close to the sun and his wax wings melt resulting in his death (failed ambition etc.)

Thank you so much for the link, this is truly interesting, inspiration seems to seep from any pore of reality does it not? Truly this is simply wonderful yet painful sounding, thank you so much for the excellent lesson in this story. Your work by the way is simply wonderful and a major inspiration, you are a wonderful artist for it seems you use art as a lifestyle not just a hobby I feel we could have many wonderful conversations in the future

Greek mythological character. His father was a craftsman and they both wanted to leave Crete, so the father made them wings of wax and feathers. The father told Icarus not to go to high, but he got too excited and did anyway, and the sun melted his wings and he fell into the sea.
