Description
This is the artwork that I've promised. As for my 20k kiriban I presented to you an original Naruto fanart wallpaper (1024 x 768). You can download it or save it. The fanart shows Sakura fighting with a hundred puppets, I got the inspiration from the Naruto Shippuden's episod where Sakura had to fight against Sasori.The colouring process: [link]

I rarely comment but I just wanted to say I think the composition of this piece is really good! Whether knowingly or not, you have used the rule of thirds very well, and the way you've placed Sakura on an angle draws the eye and also suggests movement and action. And I do like ACTION SAKURA because she so rarely gets to play that role. XD
For some constructive feedback I think the composition could benefit from something subtle to draw the eye up into the upper right corner, then back down and around back into the main focal point of Sakura, and perhaps to add some subtle colors throughout (very subtle) reflecting the green of her eyes (perhaps a very muted, desaturated dark green in the shadows), since that is the complimentary of red.

THIS should be how the fight was really drawn in the manga. Makes me admire Sakura more; a little girl facing hundreds of puppets like that is definitely beyond what you'd call strong.

Yeah, I totally agree...There were more on Sakura compared to that mr. crybaby; Naruto. Lately, she didn't have any chance to show that mighty strength of her in anime or manga, I wonder why such thing could happened...She is actually one of the 3 main characters in the story.
The different colours were just to show the variety, same appearances will made them looked so copied and I don't want that!

yeh...girls in Naruto don't have those chances in recent shippuden episodes..maybe due to the coolness of those characters are too much and may overcome the unfortunate leading character, Naruto.
Even Sasuke is more famous than him...poor Naruto.

I sincerely dislike Sakura's face in this piece, but the puppet's expression, composition and specially the flow on the fabrics amaze me.

Forehead and eyebrow (even eye) sizes. I think reducing the eye and eyebrow a little bit and making hair over the forehead thicker to hide it would fix it.

Yeah, actually I did that while coloring it, but by doing that the character lost the Sakura identity and the facial emotion. I tried to make the eye and eyebrow smaller and when I resize it into the recent size...you can't see them.
Perfect is theoretically unreachable and subjective...even robots have flaws, we can try and in the end it'll depend on our satisfaction.
