Description
So the idea of Midna beckoning into the curtain of twilight popped into my head; plus I wanted to try out my new set of prismacolors. Midna's my favorite character in Twilight Princess
Prismacolors omahgah they're so great
There are still several reasons why I'm unhappy with this, the main ones being the fail background and the fact that her helmet and the twilight designs are crooked. I only realized they were off-kilter AFTER I had finished.
I am proud of my coloring, though.

I've drawn imp Minda...some six or seven times, I think, so it gets easier with practice. I just freehand meticulously from reference pictures of her, so it's definitely not perfect

Aren't Prismacolors awesome? It feels like your drawing with paint, less like drawing with a colored pencil. They make your strokes so smooth, you can barely feel the grooves of the paper!

Great work on this one. The details on the fused shadow is incredibly impressive, especially considering how this is traditional art. The concept in general is also pretty interesting and Midna's expression is really cute. Only thing i would change would be to make the background a bit darker but when it comes to traditional art, i don't really see how that would be possible without obscuring Midna's appearance... So with that said, great job

Thank you; I rarely get in-depth comments like this! The fused shadow used to be my least favorite thing to draw, but practice actually makes it fun.
As for the background, I actually had the same thought in mind, but I was losing my patience with it and I was afraid of messing it up should I fiddle with it any more.
