Lloyd Irving, Colette Brunel, and Zelos Wilder from Tales of Symphonia.I know typically Genis should be in Zelos' place. But there's a reason why I put him there, and I'll reveal that when I do the full, colored version of this.
Each of these characters were tricky to draw in their own way... Lloyd for his hair. Colette because she's usually depicted with big eyes and I have her sort of squinting here. Her mouth was the hardest to get. And Zelos for the proportion of his arm as it relates to his head. As a result--this took me several hours just to freaking sketch. That's not including putting on finishing touches and shading.
Also the side of my right hand was covered with graphite.

It reminds me of the Tales of Symphonia cosplayers at Anime Expo! Hikaru and I got our picture with a group of Lloyd, Colette, and Zelos cosplayers~ They were really nice n__n

Actually, the reference I used was a photo of them. XD Yes, they were really nice--I got to see them at the Tales of gathering. Don't you wish you could go back to AX? ;~;

i hate it when my hand is covered in pencil lead. smudges too easily after that, and it's hard to get off....

Wow, I really like how different you made their expressions. I'm not familiar with Tales of Symphonia, but I can get an idea of their personalities by looking at your piece

Personally, I do agree for when you said that Colette is a bit tricky to do when it comes to the face. With her big eyes and cute mouth, who wouldn't have a hard time? But other than that, you did a good job. I'm actually surprised that you would want to do Zelos for this pic. But it's cute none the less. Can't wait for the colored version. Later!
