Description
an abnormally tall mocchi sits atop a tree stump slicing apples in the shape of bunnies. there are apple slices in containers and handkerchiefs laid out in front of them for anyone to take as they mutter something about apples being a healthy snack to keep your energy up while you set up tents or explore the cave. they don't appear to be a regular mocchi, but judging by the mismatched rabbit ears and lion tail, you could hazard a guess that this was none other than hachi the myth. they seem to be in disguise in order to help out the explorers while not drawing too much attention to themselves, but it still seems pretty obvious who they are.

before getting into the real action i wanted to draw up a 'hachi disguise' ref for anyone who might want to include him in future prompts! since his myth 'powers' stem from just being able to spot him, he changed his clothes and used a lot of body paint to help him blend into the crowd of other mocchin, though he didn't consider his height making him stand out anyways. or his lucky items. or his ears and tail. he tried his best.
