Gun - The Prototype

Many years ago a strong virus contaminated hundreds of animals, causing them to become hostile and extremely dangerous. Further study allowed researchers to learn that this new virus did not destroy the body's cells but it took them as hosts,being able to control them. This would cause the brain to be useless as it could not control any cell,and it would cause animals which have no rationality to follow their main instinct. To kill.

As time passed the virus spread all over the globe,and mere firepower was not enough for these changed animals anymore. Humans were forced to refugee underground in strong facilities where scientists searched for a weapon that could not be destroyed,or that could at least avoid damage,thus avoiding destruction. Not having the resources for a second chance,they focused all their work and resources on their first and last try. From this experiment they created an artificial human being with altered DNA to be able to regenerate It's body cells at an astounding speed, as well as creating new molecules. It was a perfect human being,able to develop himself to whatever he liked. A self-upgrading android named by the scientists as simply "The Prototype".
The Prototype was sent to kill all the contaminated species,and the middle of the process,he was contaminated,but thanks to his cell abilities he stopped any symptoms,having only some of the marks of the infection on his face that he could not stop in time.

Regardless,The Prototype managed to end his mission and bring peace back to mankind. After this he did not return to the base,as if he did he knew he'd be destroyed,now that his mission was accomplished. And so he walked away,wandering around hundreds of places,searching for an answer to which he does not know the question,only aware that he was created merely as a weapon to serve mankind.
Everytime they ask his name,he will answer with a soft,yet dark innocent voice "My name is,Gun"
