Travis Knight succeeds in creating a Transformers movie with actual production values. Michael Bay's contract expiring is probably the best thing to ever happen to the franchise.

I cried at the end.
Because i know that Charlie now is probably dead. And she had no chance of meeting Bumblebee again.

The movie is set in 1987 and Charlie is in her late teens. Fast-forward 30 years and she'd be in her late 40s and probably still alive. Whether any future Transformers movie mentions her is an open question.
