Description
This is my first, serious attempt at digital art in a long time. I bought myself a pen tablet similar to a Cintiq (Gaomon is the brand) and I loooooove it!

A few things to note about this piece:

Firstly, I purposely made the halo suggestive of a monstrance (a receptacle in which Catholics display the Blessed Sacrament for adoration). Catholics believe the Sacrament to be the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Christ made present under the guise of bread and wine.

The girl is no one in particular, but is modeled after myself a bit. Also, getting the lighting right on her face was HARD. Not sure why, but it took me waaay too long haha

Prayer need not be complicated or sprinkled with elaborate flourishes. It can be as simple as two friends talking plainly about anything at all. He knows all that you are thinking but He is pleased to hear it in your words nonetheless
