My over all impression is that this is an amazing art piece. Ironically enough I critiqued the one you said you stole the idea from earlier today. Now, back to your drawing. The details and shadows are spot on and amazing. The light trails and streaks in the sand lead you Zecora. I really like the idea of the paper fling in the wind, but what are they? The background could have used a little more attention and detail put into it, just a little. But other than that I don't really see anything wrong with it. Again, overall, a very nice work of art. Keep doing a good job.

vision: I say 5 stars its amazing, the shading,lighting. EVERYTHING. Even the character itself,correct me if im wrong but this is from the video game right?



Originality: I say 3, since you know, you say in the desc. that you basically "stole" it.


Technique: flawless,its perfect and I couldn`t have added anthing else to make it look better. I can`t say how much I love this!! wow.ITS WOW


Impact: it improves you art a lot and gives us something to look at! You really did a great piece, I hope you`ll do more of these type drawings in the future.

This may not be the nicest thing to say, and I say this with great respect to the original artist, but...

I think yours is better.Β  I like the lighting a little more, and the fact that Zecora is half-hidden in shadows.Β  Makes her eye really stand out, and I like that a lot.Β  Lot of neat touches in both pictures (Like the wind blowing the fabric and stuff), but I just like yours a little more.Β  You took something great and made it even better, at least in my eyes.Β  Both great pictures, though.

Regardless, that's just my opinion.Β  Great work!

I use photoshop. Mostly because it's what I'm used to. I think most digital painting software would work for a piece like this.
