In this event, at Whitesburg Hospital in Whitesburg, KY, we honor the loved ones (and those of strangers) who had left us to join the Lord in heaven. One of those loved ones was my last, surviving grandparent, my maternal grandmother who we affectionately call Mamaw. She had left the earth and is now in Heaven with her siblings, my other grandparents, my maternal aunt, and so many relatives who are no longer here. This is dedicated to the memory of Mamaw who had worked at the same hospital for 17 years before retirement ❣️
