wow this is really wonderful! How did you pop art-ize this photograph? Is it a mixture of unique lighting and photoshop? Or what.... Because my brother argues with me about how its done (we are trying to make designs that are able to be printed as t-shirts, and we need them to be high contrast...) I really admire your photomanipulation know-how, you've created some really beautiful designs! ::jealousy::

oh hehe, it was done by different layers and filters on photoshop. i think i used like 2 different textures over the orginal jim pic, and then filtered the picture. then i merged all the layers and played with the hue/sat/brightness/contrast all together. then i played around with the final product till i got this

Yup! i've done page, janis joplin, charlie chaplin, grace kelly, and now jim morrison. But most of them are the wonderful BeAtLeS!!! but i forgot about those when i was writing that thing

thanks. Well i got the pic of jim and then made it high contrast and used the halftone paper filter to make it dots. Then i added some texture to it by making the second layer kinda opaque. then i fixed the contrast again and changed the colors.
