And it says on my ID that I’m a sparkle brush spammer. It’s my special skill. xD Don’t like it? Don’t care.

ANYWAY! After I joined #Transformer-High and started to get my two characters, Sapphire and Amber going, I was offered a chance to have one of my OCs drawn by the amazing who, quite frankly, can draw better transformers characters than I, or many other people can. So I said I’d love to see his go at Sapphire and he went for it.

It WAS going to be Sapphire that is, but he was right to say the pose doesn’t really fit Sapphire’s personality while within the group. So…we agree that it’s Amber now. xD

So yes, he sketched the original image here --- > And I just went for it. The design was great, nothing was out of place….she turned out exactly as I imagined her to be~ xD So…I asked if I could work my GIMP magic with her, he approved, and this is what happened.

And if you complain about how Transformers don't have hair, I swear... okay, picture this...spines. Lots of them. I'm just lazy and I don't want to shade and shine all that. (Still don't understand textures either). So yeah. Spines. Amber actually has them too. They light on fire when she gets really angry at something. Same thing with Sapphire, only the blue bot's spines crackle with electricity.

I’m working on making designs for the two myself, but I still have a long way to go with practice. It won’t stop me though~

Anyway, for those of you who don’t know, Amber is Sapphire’s nicer, more outgoing younger sister. She’s an exact physical replica of her older sibling, only her colors are different in that respect, but when it comes down to personality, those two are polar opposites. Amber is the nicer, sweeter and more studious one of the two, whereas Sapphire is rougher and more competitive. Very independent. And she’s not as good in some classes as Amber. But in the same light, Amber struggles in a few Sapphire finds to be easy as well.

In Sapphire’s Decepticon story however, Amber is an Autobot with the same personality as always, but she’s become more of a fighter than she is a scholar in #Transformer-High . She fights against Sapphire and the Decepticons whenever she must, and is always looking to avenge the death of her most beloved sister, Echo, whom Sapphire managed to put offline in one of the final battles on Cybertron.

One day soon I’ll draw these two properly and give them good bios and whatnot. But in the meantime, hope you like how it turned out and sorry if you don’t! I’ll be answering my Watcher’s questions soon, along with a bunch of other stuff I’ve promised.
