I really like how you captured the romanesque feel of the manga while making him look his age. And yes he does look beautiful!
I love how soft the colors and shading are, the slightly blurred style really works with this sort of painting!
The only thing I might change is that the three curls of hair on his forehead (donuts? whatever they are) look kind of flat against the rest of his hair. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but maybe some slightly stronger shading around them would help give the impression that they do stick out a bit? I'm not too familiar with painting so I don't know how to go about solving that little nitpick. Other than that I see no problems.

Thanks for the critique! You definitely have a point about the ringlets (I think that’s what they are lol) being a little flat. I might update it and add some highlights to them near the top. And I’m so happy you said he looks his age!
