The subreddit got me thinking about the hacking of GSC to have Red's team match the one from the Red playthrough. Imagine going up against our team when Twitch eventually plays a Gen 2 game! So I set out to make a set of sprites to reflect our team, and kind of get a little bit of their personalities mixed into the sprites too.
Really proud of how they turned out, especially AATTVVV, he's also my favorite of the bunch.
Hope you like them, and if you're somwbody who knows how to hack PokΓ©mon games, go ahead and use them. Well I guess that goes for everybody. Credit would be appreciated, but it isn't necessary.

I absolutely love these sprites. I have been thinking of making an RPG Maker rendition of Pokemon Red with the Twitch team set up as a team all their own. Might take some time to make, but may I use these as part of the game when I make it?

lol i first didn't get it because i only watched for the first 7 days and then on the 14th day again, but the told story is better again than the whole game xD

Having only gone into the madness of it all recently, I'll do my best to explain. Feel free to correct me, everyone.
Omastar: Our Lord Helix, the god of anarchy, praise be to him, was the result of getting the Helix Fossil in Mt. Moon, and the participants finding out you can't throw it away. Thus, sometimes Red will go in his bag and "CONSULT THE HELIX FOSSIL".
Pidgeot: First PokΓ©mon caught in the stream, it eventually ascended to become the strongest party member and carried Red through many tough spots, earning the moniker, Bird Jesus.
Zapdos: Also known as Battery Jesus, after also ascending to power that surpassed Pidgeot's own. Successfully caught with the Master Ball, and sent to the dreaded PC, it quickly instigated a mass release of stored PokΓ©mon.
Nidoking: Known as the Fonz, or King Fonz when it evolved from Nidorino. More or less named after its jumble of a name, but every PokΓ©mon in the stream is guilty of this. Still held his own, though.
Lapras: Known as Air, for Air Jordan. She was necessary for Surfing where needed.
Venomoth: Known as ATV, or All-Terrain Venomoth. Not referenced is that it was also a hanger-on like King Fonz, but ATV ascended to greatness after beating Lance's final Dragonite, due to quirks in the late game AI forcing it to "attack" with Psychic-type moves, Agility and Barrier.

Well, not necessarily a coach. I gave him the cap because of Fresh Prince of Bel-"air", and gave him the basketball because of "air" jordans. Hope this clears it up for you.
