Description The Prince of the Sea is back, and he's making waves in the ocean!

Ahh, summer break! There's significantly more time in the day when you're not stressing about anything.
And when I don't stress about much, I pull up MSPaint, andΒ
I decided to give this picture (fav.me/daqzpa3 ) a reboot.
In my humble opinion, I think I did pretty good job on it.

That being said, it's not a perfect picture, and I'd love to hear honest feedback about how to improve it ^^

I like what you did with the water here; having it get darker as you go downwards. I guess if I had to add one thing, it'd be to add some more raindrops in front of where the waves are so that it'll look like it's raining where the Manaphy is (I hope that made sense ^^)

It's notably improved since! Especially the lineart, the shapes.

It's good that the water gets brighter as it loses density, but it doesn't fit with the dark, stormy weather. So the water could use a darker tone.

I suppose it can be tough to put shading in a dark landscape, but you've decided that any light comes from the left, rendering manaphy's shade to be on its right.
Which is fairly correct as the storm might have ended over there, bringing the light (I don't know what point I'm trying to make, but put your mind into it, further develop your shading technique!)

As for the lineart, you could think about what's in front/behind for less obvious details. E.g extend the line in the middle of the antennae to make the right antennae appear behind.

Same for the top of the head to make the antennae appear to be a bit behind the head, instead of precisely above, if that's how you'd want it to be.

And so on.
Keep practicing, champ!
