Description
Once upon a timeThere was a fancy maid
All she did was rhyme
As on green grass she laid
And her mother cried
“What’ll I do with thee?”
And at this she sighed
“You’ll be the death of me!”
The girl she ran fast
So fast she was a blur
Then she lay at last
Among thistle burs
As she counted clouds
She thought up this small rhyme
Cloaked in grassy shrouds
She wrote away the time
