07: No, we were not. Sector 7 chased us just as they chased your Bumblebee. At first they feared us... but in time, we came to form an alliance and worked together to stop Megatron, and those who wish to harm Earth and her people.

ROTB: But... how do you know you can trust them? They are a primitive... and violent race.

07: Were we so different? They're a young species, they have much to learn. But I have seen goodness in them. Freedom is the right of all sentient beings.

Just a bit of an idea if Optimus from the Michael Bay saga met Optimus from Rise of the Beasts (he didn't have much of a character in 'Bumblebee'), and sharing some wisdom and advice about humanity. As much as people label Bayverse Optimus as a bloodthirsty psycho, you have to admit he cared for humanity within a DAY of arriving on Earth and took a lot of their BS while still wanting to fight for them, vs ROTB Optimus who hated humanity and wasn't willing to trust them after hiding on Earth for seven years.

If you're wondering about the size difference, ROTB not only has different designs from the Bay movies, but their heights are also changed. Before, Optimus Prime was 26 feet tall, which is why he turned into the Freightliner, but since the reboot, Optimus is now just 20 feet tall. I debated making them the same height since this kind of interaction is 100% fanfiction and my take of how ROTB Optimus would learn that humanity isn't all bad if he somehow jumped dimensions and ended up in the Bayverse (I would've chosen a different model but sadly we're limited so Fortnite is all I had), but I thought "Eh, why not throw people off and do it like this?"

As for the setting, well this is after ROTB Optimus arrived, and they're on a Venator in the hangar, just talking among the transported ships and Jaegers between planets.
