Description A life beneath the waves, forever looking up to the real.

2nd of the shots taken at borth on a trip with my friend Dave.
This time it’s looking back across the town and towards the cliffs. Notice the remains of a tree embedded in the sand. Walking a long the beach you can see many of these scattered about, whets left of a forest lost beneath the sand and waves long ago. Apparently on very low tide a mass of them becomes visible.

Hope you all like it

This is amazing, I absolutely love it. I've been to Borth many many times ^^ I love the remains of the Primordial Forest, and yes at low tide you can see trunks and fallen trees several beaches away from the pipe with the rocks ontop.

They're really soft and spongy, quite strange. Just not very nice if you're swimming in them because they make you slip over and suddenly go deeper! xD

I'd like to see some warmth in the sky. The transition from warm colours to cold sky is a little abrupt to my eye.. but thats me... nice scene and contrasts.

Well I'm going to go against everything else everyone here has said, and find as many inscrutable little details in the picture to back me up ... So here goes: Oh for fuck's sake! OK it's brilliant, keep it up boyo!

I like what you did with the colors..The reflection of the sky in the water is particularly pleasing as well..Very nice composition too..

Smooooth. Shame there's not something bigger in the foreground, then it would be awesome.

Thanks, glad you like it huwbert.

I didnt like the colour version of the last one but in this i didnt want another tritone shot, so kept with the colour and i think it paid off.

Yeah, I think it works as this shot has fairly gentle tones naturally. Especially in the clouds and their reflections.
