This is yet another Trent Reznor wallpaper. Yes, I know, I have a problem.Anyways, I was wanting to go for a calm toned wallpaper. There is a lot of light brushwork (brushes from vBRUSH). I blended several images together but decided to use brushes to 'frame' the image of Trent because I wanted a lot of focus to go there. I love the outcome, it looks very minimalistic.
One of the images I used was actually a wallpaper from the nin.com website and I liked what I did to it. I kept the TV scan lines theme because that is very NIN-esque and I thought it worked out very well.
I really like the bottom portion with a glimpse of the fans, it actually looks like they are there listening to Trent in that setting

i like the colors and they neeldes/lights, but i think the composition could have been better if it wasn't all in the middle. the way those needles create movement, it makes me want to see the body a little to the top left corner.

I see what you are saying, but I wanted 'blank' spaces for the icons on my computer screen and I orignally was going to have more photo content on top of those layers but ended up liking the simplicity of the singular photograph...
