Before I bump into this, I thought I was going to critise a gif logo like above but then I saw your video xd And even I didnt know what was the showreel means and I havent critised any before, I looked at the meaning and here's my comment :3
Firstly, it has a good start. I liked that you put your logo at the beginning. Also it's very cool and original. I liked the music too. It makes watchers pay attention. Also I liked how you put the only beginning of your games first. It gives a general feeling. Also it makes the video avoided from any distactive elements like the confusion when you see something for the first time. One last thing is that it's a great detail that you put the after parts of the games after you showed the main menu parts.
The points to improve, the 00:11 creates a confusion which interrupts the video's continuity. Like the watcher tries to understand what that is. Other than that, when the comics are being showed, the background and the turning page effect look a little amateur. Maybe it could look better if you just zoommed at some comic panels and slide the zommed panel to the above one slowly. And lastly, the thanks for watching part could be longer. It disappears too fast to read. But of course these are just my opinions :3 You dont have to agree all :3 :3

The comics that you've mentioned are actually recordings not effects. Its from these:

I think having it zoomed in would indicate to the viewer that there's a lot of action and it wouldn't looked nice.
Because it won't show the whole design.
For 0:11 on my Showreel, its a 3D and 2D animaton if you're confused about that. I don't think I could improve that transition because sometimes a showreel needs a bit of interruptions just so I could show my other works. My time limit for the video needs to be 30 sec exactly, and the time limit is also the reason why the end credits are fast.
