going through some photos from this past summer.. (jul '04)this is rachel dancing among about 100 other people
at an outdoor festival. she exudes such beauty
and exuberance that when she dances,
even
amongst so many others,
one only sees her.
i LOVE the noise here. i simply cannot understand
why people say 'grain is beautiful and noise is ugly'.
i see nothing but beauty beauty beauty.
hope this lifts you as it lifts me.

This might sound a bit odd but I really like the movement of this shot. I must have just looked at about 100 images under the category dance and this is one of the few I’ve seen that actually captures and expresses movement.

bonnaroo is a music festival in Manchester Tennessee every summer. one of the largest in the country, not that bigger ever meant better..

Dont know it ive commented on this before.. do know that im very happy to have found it again and am reassured of how much it impresses me not just a spur of the moment thing ...i do wish that it was more focused...but hey love it anyway swish swirl swish exhiilrated rush...uve certainly captured a "moment" here..congrats
