I've been on a HA! netflix marathon the past week, which prompted me to draw some fanart
This is how I picture a realistic Helga around 15 and sans unibrow, heh. Maybe I'll draw Arnold next!

She is a favorite of mine as well. I feel as if she's someone I can easily relate to. She's complicated, reacts in some situations the way a 9 year old might normally but also has instances of wisdom and astuteness, but also has this wealth of intelligence and interests that sets her apart as well. Plus she's so well versed in fine arts and I love that. When she mentioned Edward Hopper in Helga on the Couch, I was happy to see that. (When I was younger I liked artists and films that others my age didn't understand. I remember watching AMC as a kid back when it played classics like Oklahoma, Debbie and the Bachelor etc).
