I do not have a large map file but I now use them in most of my imagies.
Maps can completely change an image and most maps are infinantly variable.
I stand in awe ..the path is guiding you to higher places

Thanks, the play thingy wasn't one of the path but I'm learning a lot from doing it. I'm thinking of focusing on Menger after this as I really love that formula.
After reading a help bit from Hal I figured out how to easily find what map you wanted to use (right click). Amazing I never found that before!

Very welcome! I prefer not to use dof, which is mainly a photography effect that sometimes works fine. The human eye compensates for what lenses can't and tend to work around this thinking. Now honestly, the few times I tried it was really ugly. Might be my lack of enthusiasm!

Yeah sometimes DOF works well, come times it does not. I like it (or lighting) when I want to have focus on one place in a render.

Looks like you have got the knack for MB3D, this has a very unique look.
