Eh. I like them. I think they thought people would kill Elsa so they kept her away because they thought it would protect her. I feel bad for them, no one knew how to handle magic so they made mistakes.Β

To be honest, I don't think anyone knew that fear was the cause until the end of the movie. I've seen it twice and it wasn't obvious. That, and Elsa never asked to go out of her room so I don't think that her parents are to blame for that. Her parents did what they knew: have her the gloves when her powers became stronger. No one even knew fear was the problem until the end of the movie...Β

but it I still don't think her parents were the enemy. Elsa could have protested, but she didn't. So there is no doubt that She's also to blame for that fear. That and her parents didn't force her, she was willing, because she wanted Anna to be safe.Β

The fact that the cold doesn't bother her doesn't necessarily mean she can't feel it (the temperature)

I've read somewhere that the gloves could reduce her powers, but not stop them completely if she had strong feelings, and she obviously had. So technically, that's not really a plot hole, just an unanswered question.Β

This movie is pretty much like Sonic Adventure 2 in the sense that it's at least decent, overrated, and the story is full of plot holes.

They loved her, but like a lot of homopho- uh, I mean, "overreacting" parents, they focused on how they felt about the matter instead of helping their child.Β

Β Know elsa was originally supposed to be evil but they changed that because not all ice queens are evil and besides she was just confused and scared at that point so she shouldnt have been evil at all just scared which is all she was, so yeah it would be cooler to see an evil elsa but...wouldnt that just drift anna and elsa even further?
