I love Macro photography. The trick to getting them to come out well (and I am no expert) is to get the background right. I also have a photo of a pink flower in that album using the same sort of settings but it is a very different look. A distinctive building behind a flower does give a great image.
Other than that just experiment with different styles of photography. I love scenery and buildings but get a bit bored photographing people.

I dont tend to edit my pictures apart from a slight crop sometimes. What you see is what I shot.
