This is from the past of the character, the times when she was happy In the world they live, half breeds doesnt exist, so Mai is totally unique. Her birth triggered a chain of events that eventually caused Arya, to become this: [link]
So, you can imagine is a very dramatic story

I wanted to show this other face of the character, not the paladin, or the sad woman, but the happy person she once was. I hope I achieved that^^
