Brief History: Melody was born the third and final child of a small town couple scraping together a living in Violet City. After the death
of her father when she was eight years old, Melody remained at the house with her mother until young adulthood, unlike her older
siblings Thomas and Rika who left on their Pokemon journeys without looking back. When she was sixteen years old, Melody attempted
her own journey but quickly returned home without earning a single badge, feeling guilty for leaving her mother alone. She ended up
finally moving away from home at eighteen thanks to her sister's suggestion, and settled down in a small apartment in Ivywood.
