haha I only just saw this comment. It's on cardboard boxes from the supermarket and I used a mix of oils and acrylics. Like, the lips are acrylics, but the face and shirt are oils.
How long.....well 20hours maybe. It got so boooring after a while. And I have no idea of the real time, cos i was 'simultaneously' watching TV.

anyway
it's oils on pieces of cardboard I took from the supermarket.
It's actually oils and acrylics.
So i borrowed Naomi's place for a summer and layed out the carboard boxes, and painted a big face on them!! It took 30-40 hours maybe? But then I had to repaint the white background and the hair because it looked dusty and incomplete. And getting the cardboard pieces mounted on those polystyrian sheets, and painting those sheets orange was a nightmare. What was especially horrible was when the sheets broke just a couple of days before exhibition, and I had so much other stuff to do... which was a nightmare haha
