mostly drawn to/inspired by: "quasar" by really slow motion
It was easy to smile. It was easy to play the part of a confident, suave, all-knowing spiritual leader, stepping into a role that some could argue she was born for. But the others? Oh, Tahmina could only imagine. She was sure there were rumors, Xassans who looked at her and thought that she wasn't experienced enough for the position, not qualified to serve as their spiritual guide. It was easy to inflate herself in front of the others, easy to deflect and carry on as if nothing was wrong.
But, in the end, it was hard because they were right.
The first time Mina stepped back into the caves after her return to the badlands, the weight of what she had just done, of Xerxes' will, finally settled on her shoulders. It was a humbling, and terrifying sensation.
Only time would tell if she would actually be worthy of it.
EYY some more Tahmina art. I actually ended up super proud of this piece so here we are. I did me a try.
