Cant say, the guitar was an absolute mess when I got it and did not function at all...I am in the process of fixing the wiring and stuff, I will no be able to compare it since I never heard it (its a very old guitar) but hopefully I will make it sing again

I have another guitar I will be carving in the coming months as I get more time...once I feel more comfortable with it I may start making them from scratch and if so selling them

well i'd be very interested to know if it still plays and sounds well. as a bass player, the wood plays a much larger roll in the sound of the instrument. i've always been interested in having a uniquely carved bass of my own.
i've got you on my watch list now, so i'll keep an eye out for any more you do.

again, this is gorgeous work. love it!

dremel, sanding paper (loads of sanding paper) and stain
