Sometimes I will be sitting at my computer just totally into what I am doing and I will suddenly feel his presence in the room. I don’t know how I feel it, I just do and when I look up he is usually somewhere close by just looking at me, like he is here in this photograph.
He doesn’t want food or attention all he wants to do is just sit there and look at me.
For the longest time I wondered why he would do this, I mean sometimes he will sit there for a long time.
And then the other day, I caught myself watching him as he was sleeping in the window. I was just looking at him for the longest time, he looked so peaceful sleeping there, I love him so much and I love looking at him.

It was in that moment that I understood him better than I ever did before because there I was doing exactly what he does to me.

I don’t think I could have smiled any bigger right then, not even if I tried.
