in sac. and i use to work in reno and made that trip many times, always looking for back roads to beat traffic,,

I was born and raised in Sacramento, I moved here to Colfax 6 years ago and you are so correct about that traffic thing...it bites.

I was born and raised here as well.. i moved away for about 4 years to Oroville of all places but came back when i was 18 and have been here ever since.. I like it here but wish it was cooler in the summer and about half as many people living here and it would be All good..

Ive Lived all over Sac but think im happiest here in Land park.. love the area and the people are nice and im close to my Favorite Place in the world to shoot pics and he Zoo Cant beat that i guess lol

I moved out of Sacramento when I was 18 also...to Chico, no joke. I was there a few years and headed back to Sac too.

I was basically from the Madison/I-80, Foothill Farms area until the last few years I was there. Before I moved up here I was living in South Sacramento, Center Parkway area if you can believe that. Talk about a culture shock going from there to here. I actually live like 10 miles above Colfax, the Gold Run area, it's nicer here than South Sac. LOL
Land Park is better than Center Parkway though I will say that.
Wow, seems we should know each other, we have definitively lived near one another.

it sure is a small world... i grew up all over sac. from 35th ave off Franklan till i was sick then to South Side then to citrus heights Fair Oaks area, then to Oroville then back to South Sac around 47th ave when i was 18. hung around there till my early 20's them moved in with my roommate now in land park and have been here a little over 18 years. Its a big town but i'm sure we ran in to each other some place some time.
