Well, it's official, Mikey loves the kittens. You should see how he chases them all over the house and they chase him. The kittens have done what I was hoping they would do for Mikey, get him off his butt. LOL
Seriously though, his back end gets stiff on him, he is 9 years old and getting him to exercise just doesn't happen, he looks at me like I'm out of my flippin mind.

But these kittens....well...he tried so hard to resist their charms, he even got mad at them a couple of times but when Tiggy ran up to him and put his little arms around Mikey's neck and started biting his chin....it was on.
Now they wrestle and run and play daily and I couldn't be happier about that.

The reason I got the kittens was to help Haley and I through this difficult time we are going through and to help the kittens because they needed a home.But there was a part of me that had totally thought through the benefits of having little rascals around and Mikey's health was a big reason too.

And I may not be able to get him to exercise with buying him toys or taking him for walks but I knew if I just appealed to that incredible heart of his, he would be up and running....he loves his kittens and he is even climbing trees now.

No matter the reason, we are all pretty happy with the way things turned out.

Oh and I used the Topaz Clean 3 filter in CS5 for this look and I love it, almost like a painting.
