Description
Really Unity?
So starting in 2024, indie devs will be forced to pay $0.20 when using the basic unity engine as well as each installation of their indie game?
Are you intentionally trying to damage your reputation by imposing these charges on every independent developer utilizing your engine? Is it the case that selling off your stocks just days before this noteworthy announcement hasn't yielded a satisfactory financial gain for you, Unity? In what ways will this prove advantageous for independent developers who invest considerable effort, money, and time into creating their games? Merely to face the unexpected expense of a fee for each installation, it's like a big slap in the face for the indie devs.
Looking forward to 2024 without Unity unless they call off this decision beforehand.
