I like Mario and Luigi (in terms of Super Mario RPGs) and I absolutely love, loooove Superstar Saga so much.

I just simply love everything about it. While NOT the first to introduce its unique battle system (that goes to "Tomato Adventure", albeit more earlier), it committed to it and made it work in such ways. Even more so, the location that it's focused on, the BeanBean Kingdom with its characters and creatures, the incredible art direction (in my eyes at least), the WRITING, EVEN THE PUNS, all of it made it that much more awsome than it needed to be.

By no means it's all perfect, it is the first game of the series, we can at least agree to that... buut I'll still love it regardless. heh

I really wanted to make a doodle batch dedicated to that, with some that I think are my favourite highlights. The rest are just for fun.

It was also neat that I had the time to try out some of the more washed out colors this time.

There's a problem though... there are no Mario and Luigi in this batch.
