Description Sandry from the books by Tamora pierce. She is a Thread mage or a stitch witch and a noble woman but was raised in a foster home with her other foster siblings and taught how to use magic. The books start off with her young and this is a picture of her about mid way through them when she gets a little older... not enough fan art out there of these books and that is a shame cause thier amazing.

Very nice. I love the books to death. <3

The only thing I have to note is the dress- 'The Circle of Magic' series is set in a medieval/Renaissance era, and the dresses weren't nearly as low cut as you have depicted. Even if they were that's not Sandry's style, as she's more conservative with what she reveals about herself. Perhaps lookup some references for Renaissance gowns? A Google search brings up a lot of options. ^^

Great work!

I like the style, though she looks full-grown woman in this representation.

I love the gesture of her right hand, glowing with the orb of threads, but her left hand kind of lacks. (Unless her left hand is like that in the series)

I need to read more speculative fiction. I've been slowly getting back into it by reading "Conan," one of Stan Nichols orc books, and "Swordpoint."

What about this book series do you recommend?

hah na her left had is just kinda making a fist. haha yea the books are great fantasy fiction.... the first three ...dont let them scare you off... are marketed as children books but they are expertly written and introduce the characters as kids... even so there is something sincere that comes from them become strangers to becoming siblings and the books though for children deal with some very adult situations... they are called magic circle quartet... the next four books are called the circle opens and the characters are older like fifteen sixteen and are amazing as well...and more adult. then there is one more called the circle reforged and the characters are like nineteen... they are just great books and i recommend ya check em out
