Bridgette left her whole life and everything she ever knew for Seaford.

Not in the sense of "things are better there", but that Seaford had an apartment up for cheap and she managed to get two jobs quick enough to support herself. She rides a bike to work and eats her food on her apartment's balcony so she can watch the sun set over the beach, and she spends every day happy to be alive.

Back "home" was where her whole family had lived for generations, and she had planned to stay put. Her girlfriend of six years and her were set to get the family home when her parents retired to her grandparent's old home down the property, and everyone in town knew everyone. The problem was that her girlfriend was abusive and manipulative, gaslighting her to make her feel like everything was her own fault, controlling her finances, and managed to get the whole family on her side. So Bridgette made a decision one day after she talked with her grandmother about it for hours- with her grandmother being the one person who still believed her when she talked about the treatment- she packed up whatever she could fit in her car, took her life savings and knitting supplies and her little dog, and drove and drove until she got to Seaford.

She's happier now than she's ever been in her life. Bridgette's a fighter, she won't let anything get her down!

- puppy! She has a corgi named Buttercup! A fat little 4 year old dog who picked and protected her every time her ex picked a fight. She returned the favor and brought her dog with her, and they've been inseparable ever since!
- favorite food! Peaches! Peach preserves, peach cobbler, peach pie, peach ice cream, peaches and cream, basically if it has a peach in it she's there for it.
- gay! Bridgette is a lesbian! She's a huge fan of girls.
- country girl! She's from southern Georgia, a real small town girl. She's trusting and sweet, but she is also very handy. There isn't a problem she can't fix!
- knitting! She likes to knit scarves! She donates most of them, she's not good or fast at it, but she enjoys it. Isn't that all that matters? Getting to curl up with something you love and have a good night?
