For me Confederate flag is symbol of rockabilly and independence. Not a symbol of racism.

Да я просто свой инглиш практикую ( у меня будет олимпиада по нему в пьянваре ). Но конфедераты в той гражданке всё-таки проиграли, несмотря на блестящее командование генерала Ли и политику Джефферсона.

Дело вовсе не в их успехе во время войны.
Для всяких байкеров и тех же рокабиллов этот флаг означает независимость и свободу.

Ну, рокабилли - это одна из самых ранних разновидностей рок-н-ролла.

You should still watch out as its associated, even in the US, with hillbilly and racism. They wanted to become independent to keep black people as slaves, after all.

Just sayin'.

My home City of Richmond used to be the Captail of them we also had several major battles take place with in 20 miles of the city limits.
