Uhh...this is definitely not my best.
But the fact that I was half asleep when I drew it.
But the dialogue is the important part.
Wanted to do something for my birthday
Take it anyway you want, but there is a message in there and I challenge you to figure out what it is.
Basically during those 6 days before Goku reaches Namek.
Goku trains
and Bulma just kinda hangs around, fixes things, and waits in the sun.
Goku and Bulma get tired.
And even Goku has doubts.
But what keeps them going?
Tell me what you think please
Mistakes I'll fix tomorrow!
I'm so tired, but it's My Birthday and I'll sleep if I want to

Aww, gee thanks so much. I really appreciate it! This is actually my first comic (that I actually started and posted) but I see how others draw and do all that editing and mine's just straight from my sketchbook, so I sort of worry about the rough look of it all.
I was considering minoring in creative writing (Art being my major now) but this is only a silly fan comic.

This is absolutely amazing. I adore this. You too hard on yourself with your artistic side. Your an amazing story teller I don't believe a lot of people could pull this off, I've read plenty of G/B fanfics and none of them compare to this story You really stay in character and the story is little baby steps at a time keep us wondering what is going to happen next. And your artwork is phenomenal. You really catch the in depth emotions of the characters.

I'm so glad you like the comic, I try to throw things in there to keep everyone's interest. Yes, I do appreciate feedback from everyone because I LOVE talking about this couple, haha. But thank you again.
It's just a heart warming feeling when pieces of a story start to slowly come together, especially since the couple was supposed to be together to begin with, but I grew up watching this show, so I get very emotional when people who share the same interests compliment something I feel so strongly about, as silly as that may sound lol.
The reason I'm so gratefull is because when I drew the first page, I have NO idea that SOO many people were gonna like it! I had a story in mind, but I was only going to do that one comic of that one kiss, because I just wanted to see it happen, but apparently, so did a lot of other people
I try not to be too hard on myself, but it's frustrating because no matter what I draw, I'm always going think it could have been better.

But even after the series ended, he even said looking back he liked Goku and Bulma together better.

I couldn't agree more Goku and Bulma should have happened, I don't know why Toriyama didn't go with that. His zodiac sign is Aries, Aries are not really romantic personalities, that may have something to do with him not being able to write romances very well. Everything else though does make since in his story telling. He is one of the very few story tellers than can come up with someone totally in the left field (for example Radditz coming and saying he was Goku's brother and he isn't human, hes saiyan blah blah blah) and be able to pull it off.
But in any sense, I've come across more people lately that would have preferred Goku and Bulma. It just makes more sense.

Hahah you're right. I mean, I feel bad for offending Goku and ChiChi fans but it's to the point that anything ANYTHING goku and Chichi themed in a romantic way, just feels so corny and NOT REAL. Why? Because there was no real romantic basis to begin with to reference back to in the ACTUAL STORY. Goku and Bulma there were so many sexual references when they were together, and Bulma even admits in the Series that she missed out by not starting a relationship with Goku. And the whole, Goku suggesting Bulma kiss Elder Kai because he didn't want anyone kissing his wife thing? NO! that's not even what he really said, WHat he REALLY said in words that TORIYAMA wrote were "But she ain't got as much bounce as Bulma" meaning that Goku took notice of something i.e the differences between ChiChi and Bulma.lol
And a lot of Goku and Bulma stuff that people use as their point are almost ALL filler from the show, such as the hug after Goku defeated Buu and when Goku says "I love you"
It never happened. Just filler again.

I completely agree with WhiteLion. You manage to convey such a convincing story between Goku and Bulma. It feels so real. One of the MOST heartfelt and realistic comics I've ever read. ^.^

Nah, I don't think you're losing realism at all. I mean, people gotta remember that Goku is married here, so they can't just go and chuck themselves at each other. That and their feelings are confusing and they don't fully understand them. I think the story is progressing beautifully~

This is beautiful. I don't know what you're talking about. This is REALLY beautiful. I can't believe that, with just ink, paper, and few colors you've managed to create what feels like real, honest love between two people who've known each other forever. It feels beleivable, it's sweet, dramatic, and fun and I REALLY love this.

I thought Bulma was doing some exercising choreography until I overlooked the number of machines on the 2nd panel. What keeps them going is them looking forward to seeing each other again from the looks of it. Hmm. "To say good-bye", you say. What could be the riddle you challenge us with?
