Description Aoyama is the kid and Fujimaru is the Shark axe that he carries everywhere he goes. In 2011, I'm gonna make drawing fullbody pics a priority. Expect to see more characters and I may even make a comic!

This is an interesting character. I like the details in his clothers, especially his jeans. I also like how he is holding the axe; very creative. Hey good luck with that comic.

Bodies and abs aren't your strong suit? I think you drew Aoyama's body and abs pretty well. Yeah that is a good thing. If you find yourself erasing too much though here's a tip. When you're starting off with the outline, use a pencil with light grade of lead. I've discovered that Papermate's mechanical pencils have an appropriate grade for outline and details. Also do you use a kneaded eraser? They don't leave crumbs behind like your average erasers and they clean the drawings better. See if those work out for you.

You're welcome. I don't mind helping other artists whenever I have the chance. Besides I thought I tell you that tip since you said you were erasing alot. What type of art stores are in your area? Oh and what was the inspiration for Aoyama and his shark axe? That is a very interesting concept.

i dont hav many art stores in my area. i go to for example michaels's once in a blue moon cuz its pretty far. i wanna make a comic but I like to make characters first, then put those people in a story instead of forming characters around a plotline. Aoyama was gonna be my main character, but i wanted him to be a sub character instead. he's too emotionless for a main charcter. also, Fujimaru is a wisecracking shark demon that was cursed and forged into an axe. he balances out Aoyama's emotionless disposition. i like pieces that fit together perfectly.XD

Sucks that there aren't many art stores out there, but Michael's? That's an expensive store. lol. If there's a Wal-Mart out in your area they should have a arts and crafts department with cheaper products.
Oh sweet you want to make a comic. Yeah that's a good stragety. So Aoyama is too emotionless? I like those type of characters. Also I like the idea of Fujimaru and Aoyama balancing each other out. That's pretty cool. lol.
So like do you have anymore characters in mind?

I never really considered wal-mart as an art department, just a quick stop store to me. I don't think I have any other characters in mind, but I obviously need to make a girl. Someone who is madly in love with Aoyama maybe? Unrequited love is pretty funny in most manga Anyway, I'll make a trip to walmart and get all the art stuff i need. Thx lots XD

Yeah Wal-Mart's vareity ofart supplies is a bit limited though, but they still have some useful tools for a cheap price. lol. Yeah a female character obsessed with Aoyama would be interesting. Girls always seem to go with those mysterious guys. That's true in real life too. (Since I didn't talk much in school, girls considered me as mysterious. lol.) Oh and you're welcome dude. Have fun with the comic dude.
