Description
The words swell in my mindlike a powerful wave
which threatens to overwhelm me
unless I ride the wave
letting it take me where it will
until my feet are safe again on the shore
and the words threaten to swallow me whole no more
it is then that peace is restored to my mind
until the waves of inspiration
try to pull me out to sea once more.
