Description Come to me, my dearest,
and see worlds only seen in dreams,
find comfort in my watery embrace
let me steal your last breath
with my suffocating kisses,
let me claim the fire in your blood
as we sink to the blackest depths.
I will drink in your final moments,
through my eternal ocean eyes,
I will remember you for eons to come,
even when those you love are dead and gone;
you will remain mine forevermore.

I really dig your poems! (I've done a bunch of mermaid paintings at one point ironically haha)

Do you like Greek mythology as well then? The stories of Sirens and mermaids luring in sailors that were in a lot of those tales.

Thank you again! You are very sweet.

I grew up with a lot of Greek mythology. I actually at one point wrote a poem for my friend at one point because she asked me to write a poem for her about Hades(the god, not the place). I will have to post it up here sometime soon.

I actually do have one or two about a Lorelei/Siren luring in people with her voice. I really like the concept of water spirits. Kelpies, Selkies, Nixies, Mermaids/Mermen, Sirens, Rusulka, Mermaids, Roanes, Triton, Jenny-green-teeth, The Lady of the Lake, Vodianies, Kappa, Bunyips.... There are so many fascinating legends about water spirits from all over the world. I love reading mythology and folklore, especially when it comes to water spirits, and evil/unholy spirits/demons/vampires/ghosts/etc.

thank you too

That's really wonderful, the old tales/stories and different mythologies are so much fun to learn and read about. And OMG I'd love to read the Hades poem. (I have a Greek story/project I began to write out years ago, but most of it is done. I'm trying to find time to get back to it again lol)

We do have similar likes in legends and spooky stuff it seems haha.

You're welcome.

Oh! The greek story/project sounds interesting. I always love seeing stuff about Greek mythology(I just finished the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series, and want more. ). Egyptian mythology is my favorite, but it's really hard to find stuff on it that isn't very dry. I have a silver necklace with an Anubis pendant that I almost always wear.

It does seem so. That's quite interesting.

Yeah I'll have to jump back into that again some time soonish, because I was having a lot of fun with it all..

Ooo I'm a fan of Egyptian stuff, I almost met Dr. Hawass when I saw the King Tut exhibit a few years ago. ( I missed him by a day!) haha

That is wonderful, I'd love to see the necklace some time.
